The Factory is the independent retail and creative hub of Dalston. You’ll find a range of local brands and businesses, treatments, classes, and lots more. Each member of The Factory family creatively embodies either fashion, art, wellness or lifestyle. Think of us as a dynamic, flexible platform for independent creative businesses, pop-ups and unique events.
What are The Factory opening times?
As long as our businesses are open! Typically 9am to 7pm or so. Please check individual residents pages and websites.
Is there food and drink at The Factory?
Yes, you can fill your boots at our on-site café run by Ginette French Cafe.
What are the cafe opening times?
The cafe opens at 8am Monday to Saturday, and closes at 5pm. Sunday hours are 9am to 4pm
Can I hire any spaces for events?
Yes! Our high-spec, multi-use pods are designed to serve as a blank canvas to suit your daytime event needs. Please contact our events team for more info: [email protected]

Yes, all you keen cyclists will be pleased to know that we have a number of sheffield stands available for visitors.
Are there baby changing facilities?
There are not one but two baby changing areas in The Factory! Please ask one of the friendly staff members at the cafe to assist… with directions, not dirty nappies. The cafe keep a Radar key for the wheelchair accessible bathroom, where we also have a baby changing table.
Does The Factory have Wi-Fi? Is Wi-Fi free at The Factory?

Is there any security or CCTV at The Factory?
There is 24-hour CCTV in operation so no funny business, alright?
Does The Factory have a visitors code or code of conduct?
We expect all visitors to observe basic social etiquette, so please just be nice to each other. Respecting other human beings and respect the property itself. We encourage inclusivity and equality. The Factory will not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia, any anti-religious sentiment, any discrimination against people with disabilities and any other forms of discrimination. Anyone who fails to follow these simple requests will be asked to leave.
